DC4DM - THE DIGITAL CREATIVITY FOR DIGITAL MATURITY

Digital Creativity for Digital Maturity (DC4DM) is a European research project co-funded by the Erasmus+ program, developed within a network of universities, SMEs, startups, and incubators. The project promotes a human-centered and transdisciplinary approach to design education, aiming to foster critical and creative engagement with emerging digital technologies.

Within this framework, I worked as a Research Fellow, contributing to the development and testing of the DC4DM toolkit, a set of methods supporting co-design and strategic foresight processes. The toolkit is structured around progressive phases—including horizon scanning, visioning, and ideation—enabling participants to explore future scenarios and translate them into design concepts.
The methodology was applied and tested in international learning labs, such as “Feeding Madeira” in Portugal, where multidisciplinary teams collaborated with local SMEs on challenges related to food, sustainability, and technology.
The project frames design as a collaborative and anticipatory practice, positioning digital technologies as systems to be critically shaped through inclusive and experimental processes.
